Hi,
I tried this morning to open up gdb on my home machine (windows95)
and got returned promptly to the shell with no output.
Giving an executable as an argument had a similar effect.
I do get a response with --version and --help.
Any ideas?

Try "gdb --nw ...". If that works, it means gdb can't find the tcl/tk
DLLs to start the Insight interface. Try editing /etc/profile to put
/usr/bin ahead of /bin in your PATH.
