Ummm... Why am I cc-ed personally on this?

Anyway:

I personally haven't seen this (not surprising since I don't use setup to
download, only to install).
Exact steps to reproduce the problem are going to be needed for there to be
any possibility of locating the bug.

Max.

Your replies were so helpful and authoritative that
I thought that you were the Setup program
maintainer! SAT.

What does SAT mean? Also, for the record, I'm the setup maintainer :}.

Max is a setup contributor, and well able to make authoritative
statements about setup. BOTH of us (in fact, all maintainers and
contributors of opensource packages I know of) prefer to contacted via
the relevant mailing lists.

Sounds like a damn good idea to me. How do you do
it? Would you be so kind as to share the details
with us?

Is this a trick question? Just choose the defaults when running setup.exe.
It installs automatically.

heh - those download automatically, if you check again hes agreeing with Max
about Not using setup to download. Not that theres terribly much challenge
in that either. plenty of stuff in the message list archives i do believe.

A _damn_ good idea would be to write a patch for setup to make it download
the way I want.

Unfortunately, I was lazy, and perl scripts are so much easier to customize
on the fly then C programs.

As to the specifics, Just look through some of my previous posts in the
archives. I've said it all before.

Max.
