Could you check the permissions on cygwin1.dll? Is system not permitted to read/execute the DLL perhaps? > (BTW: Interestingly enough, I no longer have a /usr/doc/Cygwin/cron.README!) Quote from the announcement: "The package now adheres to the filesystem hirarchy standard (FHS)." That means, documentation, man pages and info pages are now under /usr/share instead of /usr.
