This release includes some changes in the package layout. There are now several packages, one package including the core components and one package for each additional front end. Available front ends now: Ada, C, C++, Fortran, Java, ObjC, Pascal. Besides the package layout changes there is one hack included which tries to prevent an assembler error when compiling some C++ code. To update your installation, click on the "Install Cygwin now" link on the http://cygwin.com/ web page. This downloads setup.exe to your system. Then, run setup, fill in all of the options, and make appropriate choices on the "Select Packages" screen. You'll need to select the Devel category to see gcc and friends.
