The "Documents" folder has several sub-folders Folder1 Folder2 My Images Folder3 All these folders have subfolders and files. A command "rsync /cygdrive/C/Documents xxx@freenas:backupPath" copies all Folders1 to 3 but not the "My Images" folder. I think it is because the "My Images" folder is not an ordinary directory. It is a Windows "link". The question is : is it possible in Cygwin to specify the path so that all subfolders of "My Images" are synced ? Or the only solution is to get rid of this special directory and use another folder, i.e. "Images_xyz" ? :) Gabier -- View this message in context: http://old.nabble.com/Rsync-does-not-copy-special-directories-as-%22My-Images%22-tp32915496p32915496.html Sent from the Cygwin list mailing list archive at Nabble.com. -- Problem reports: http://cygwin.com/problems.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/ Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple
