I took a crack at porting gimp.  It compiles fine except
it doesn't link due to missing "shmat" and "shmdt" functions.

As far as changing all the X window calls to Win32 calls, it's 
probably not a show stopper like the above, just a lot of work.
Maybe easier just to install X.
