Subject: Referencing Files In Bash Using UNC format?
Date: Fri, 17 Mar 2000 08:53:00 -0000 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <38D26374.E3BE2182@vixel.com> (raw)
Any pointers are appreciated...
I want to make references from bash on NT to a file that is on a shared
drive on a remote system. In a DOS box, I would use the UNC format
\\computername\sharename\path\file.ext to get at this file. Is there a
special cygnus format for this sort of thing?
Thanks in advance,
David
