Hi there,

1. In my shell (zsh-4.0.4) the ls command always shows times in UTC.

2. In my perl scripts the usage of localtime gives also UTC-time

Are these problems locale-based?

How can Iget rid of them?

regards,
Heiko

Yes.

Set your TZ variable correctly. Review the email archives on this subject
