Cannot cd or ls

Cannot cd or ls

I have installed, succesfully at last, the cygwin bash shell, and can open
the command prompt.

However, when the prompt opens the top 2 lines say:

bash: id: command not found

I have no name !@MYUSERNAME /home

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

and I cannot perform any commads, i.e. cd, ls etc.....

Is this because I haven't downloaded all the packages?

shell-utils.. also i think you should get the fileutils too acording to
your last post in the list :)
