SYSTEM isn't in your password file. Also, given your listing below,
the primary owner of most of your directories is unknown to Cygwin.
This means your password (and likely group) file is out of date.
Run 'mkpasswd -l >/etc/passwd' and 'mkgroup -l >/etc/group' and
try this all again.
