Do your tools support Windows 2000?

Thanks,
Tom Irwin.

Hi,

>Do your tools support Windows 2000?

No problem at all with Cygwin 1.0 (CD) or the newer snapshots on

- Windows 2000 Workstation RC1 US
- Windows 2000 Workstation RC2 US
- Windows 2000 Workstation RC2 German
- Windows 2000 Workstation Build 2195 Final US
- Windows 2000 Workstation Build 2195 Final German
- Windows 2000 Server RC2 US
- Windows 2000 Server RC2 German
- Windows 2000 Server Build 2195 Final US
- Windows 2000 Server Build 2195 Final German
- Windows 2000 Advanced Server Build 2195 Final German

These are the ones, I had or have up and running with Cygwin.
I suppose, the missing ones won't make any problem, too.

The "official" is no, but I don't see any reason why they wouldn't work,
we just haven't certified on the platform yet.

I don't know what Red Hat's "official" Win2k support policy is, but I run the
Cygwin tools under Win2k with no problems.
