This is more fiddly now t= han it was. Perhaps separate buttons (radio buttons) for the views would be= best. I disagree with that. A dropdown list is exactly the right treatment for a = list o=E2=80=99 things. But, and I realize SHTDI, and that someone is not me, perhaps a =E2=80=9Cfo= r the future=E2=80=9D item would be a way to specify which view to start on= , either through a command line option or through a kept choice. I also agree with OP=E2=80=99s request for a hotkey on View, although stand= ard behavior of such a hotkey would be to position the cursor in the dropdo= wn and open it, not automatically choose the =E2=80=9Cnext=E2=80=9D item in= the dropdown. I can see the benefit of the latter, though. But, more importantly (for me, anyway), can we please put the dropdown in t= he tab list? Tabbing out of the pick list goes to the Search text box, as i= t should. Shift-tabbing from the Search text box to go back to the Dropdown= , however, instead goes to the Cancel button at the bottom of the page. If = we can tab out of it, we should be able to tab (or shift-tab) back into it. Finally, a question =E2=80=94 what is =E2=80=9CPicked=E2=80=9D? It wasn=E2= =80=99t one of the previous choices, and I can=E2=80=99t figure out what it= =E2=80=99s supposed to represent. I have seven items on that page, all of which say =E2=80=9CKeep=E2=80=9D, a= nd which in no way represents all of what I=E2=80=99ve installed. I have no= thing on Pending, having updated in my previous session. (Even then, I only= had one thing to update, but still had the same seven items on =E2=80=9CPi= cked=E2=80=9D.) I thought it might be things that setup =E2=80=9Cpicked=E2= =80=9D for me based on the choices I=E2=80=99ve made, but that doesn=E2=80= =99t appear to be true, either, based on the above =E2=80=94 not only am I = not installing anything, but all of the items say =E2=80=9CKeep=E2=80=9D. On the pedantic side, why is =E2=80=9CCategory=E2=80=9D the starting view, = but the last item in the dropdown? Thanks for tackling setup, Jon. From all reports here it=E2=80=99s somethin= g of a nightmare. :) -- Problem reports: http://cygwin.com/problems.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/ Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple
