In case you want to use a network printer, you can:
leave lpr-command as "" and setq printer-name as "//host/printer"
This works for Emacs 20.5.1. I hope it also works for XEmacs.

I use a network printer and do not have the /dev/prn nor /dev/lpt-1-3, how can I
print directly from cygwin bash ?
Cheers

cat >> lpt1
fmt -s -w63 | pr -f -h "" -l 59 -o 10 -w63 >> lpt1
In addition to /dev/lpt1-3, Cygwin also includes /dev/prn.

You can change the command Xemacs uses to print by setting the elisp
variable lpr-command. I don't know what the appropriate command would be.

I tried to print out a sourcecode with the
Win32-Version of XEmacs, but the Programm
tries to send the file via 'lpr' like on
Linux-Machines.
Anyone can help?
