I have tested with IP addresses so that is not an issue. I have also checked that I am using the Cygwin application by providing the whole path. I have also tried strace, but it bails out with an exception (c0000005) and then segmentation fault. Attached you will find an output from: cygcheck -s -v -r > cygcheck.out ldd /usr/bin/ssh-keygen.exe > ldd_ssh-keygen.out strace /usr/bin/ssh-keygen.exe > strace_ssh-keygen.out Hopefully someone can make something out of this.
