The output from stty -g varies never/little on Cygwin, and is much shorter than any Linux output. The docs do not state whether these settings are meant to be portable or not. Current stable distro stty/coreutils versions vary from Cygwin 8.26, SuSE 8.29, Debian/Ubuntu 8.30, to Fedora 8.31. -- Take care.
