The Cygwin command logger is output to the Windows event log by default. Can I change the output destination to / var / log / messages?

Install package syslog-ng and run syslog-ng-config from an elevated
admin shell to set up syslogd to run under cygrunsrv.

When executed by the following procedure, it was able to output the logger log to / var / log / messages. ‡@ Install syslog-ng ‡A Execute syslog-ng-config with administrator authority ‡B Started with "$ netstart syslog-ng" ‡C Log output with logger ‡D Confirm log is output to / var / log / messages Thank you very much.
