Subject: setting character set in mintty
Date: Sun, 06 Jul 2014 22:16:00 -0000 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <CA+7connxk867hkrnJDSJNzav=rcO34gu_+wqHSLVkKBmYEBmxw@mail.gmail.com> (raw)
The way I understand it, mintty sets the LANG variable according to
user settings.
Would it make sense for mintty to invoke "cmd /c chcp <selected>"
(SetConsoleOutputCP)?
In case of no. Would it make sense to place a hint in a .bashrc about it?
