Subject: cloc error - doubled perl in shebang line
Date: Mon, 1 Aug 2022 14:13:49 -0400	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <CAA5t82K06e_fFyeeqpD3ek=641-EAH7X6My1FsrcU0tS6oaezw@mail.gmail.com> (raw)

Hi, there is an error in the cloc latest release. This has been reported
before (https://www.mail-archive.com/cygwin@cygwin.com/msg169201.html), but
still isn't fixed as far as I can tell. It appears as if work has started,
but has not yet been completed. (
https://github.com/jaalto/cygwin-package--cloc/blob/master/cygwin-announce.mail
)

There is still an extra 'perl' in the header in v1.92+20220620+git6777048-1

It can be fixed by manually removing the extra 'perl' in the shebang line.

thanks!
Karl Brown
