But you _can_ see/realize the implications of that command :)
I did a 'man cygcheck' before posting my reply, but somehow didn't notice
-p, --package-query search for REGEXP in the entire
cygwin.com package
repository (requires internet connectivity)
which, in hindsight, seems really obvious but somehow I did miss it so
