I, too rsync between Cygwin and Linux machines. Lots of good debate showing the genius of the folks that support the cygwin infrastructure. Looks like the lively discussion on both lists has stopped. What is the final consensus? Should we look for a new updates to the cygwin dll, cygrunsrv, ssh, rsync, etc?
