I'm guessing (https://answers.launchpad.net/bzr/+question/691381) I for one want to continue using Bazaar in Cygwin, so I'm grateful that python2 is at least an option in Cygwin. Bazaar is free and open-source, and I'm not a contributor, so I'm in no position to tell them to update their software so that it depends on python3 only.
