Subject: installation hangs
Date: Mon, 08 Feb 2016 18:35:00 -0000	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <CAKL1ec2N8WhHiOa-iUfWRveP0Wj0z9DCqstDLnFkTKXtULmzSA@mail.gmail.com> (raw)

Hello,

I am trying to install Cygwin 64-bit on my computer. The operating
system is Windows 7, Enterprise Edition, Service Pack 1.

When I try to install a minimum (basic) version of Cygwin, the
installation hangs during the post installation process, when 40% of
this stage has completed. This is while running ca-certificates.

When I cancel the installation by clicking on the <Cancel> button, the
final lines of file setup.log.full are

/var/cache/rebase/rebase_lst /var/cache/rebase/rebase_dyn

I start the installation by typing the following line in a command
prompt window:

setup-x86.exe --no-admin

I do have administrative rights on my computer, but attempting to
install cygwin for all users fails in the same manner.

Does anyone have any suggestions how to solve this problem?

Thank you.
