Hello,

If you ever find it out, I have the same situation (win10, X startup fail with connection refused) Also Windows 10, but I do not know, when it starts, I am not using X very often. I tried to re-install the complete x-packages of Cygwin, also started from scratch with my dot-files in the home dir, and my home dir is not my windows home but /home/<username>.

If I can help in finding out it, please let me know, what I can do

Regards, Holger
