Other than tricks involving /bin/sh, the best you can hope for is "#!/usr/bin/env PROG". It would be a worthwhile exercise to see if enabling full argument parsing breaks anything (i.e., find out if this is a win-win feature), although this is hardly likely to be on anyone's priority list soon. -Jerry -O Gerald S.
