I modify the bat to this, (in this case e: is my system drive) @echo off set HOME=%USERPROFILE% set CYGWIN=tty ntea rem e: rem chdir \cygwin\bin chdir /d %USERPROFILE% e:\cygwin\bin\bash --login -i I still get [: too many arguments bash: cd: /cygdrive/e/Documents: No such file or directory As error message. but everything else seems OK.
