I no longer distribute this version on my site.  There are newer official
Cygwin setup snapshots that include that patch and more.  Try one from
<http://cygwin.com/setup/snapshots/>.

Those are harmless, expected on a new install with the setup version you
were using, and fixed in the newer snapshots.

This shows that you are not using direct internet connection.  If you are
able to access web pages from your machine, try telling setup to "Use IE5
Settings" to connect.

If this is not your problem, please try a newer snapshot, and post the
/var/log/setup.log.full resulting from that installation attempt.
