The Lightweight X Desktop Environment (LXDE) is a GTK+2-based desktop
environment which is useful enough and keep resource usage lower at the
same time. Usability, speed, and memory usage are the main goals.
Installing the 'lxde-common' package will pull in all the required
components for the LXDE desktop along with providing a Start Menu
launcher.
