The following packages have been uploaded to the Cygwin distribution:

* libpng12-1.2.56-1
* libpng12-devel-1.2.56-1

libpng is the official reference library for the Portable Network 
Graphics (PNG) image format.

This release includes a fix for CVE-2015-8540:
