It is an alternative and replacement to pkg-config. With this release, we follow the lead of other distros which have switched to this implementation. The pkg-config command is replaced by a symlink to pkgconf, and the various $TARGET-pkg-config commands replaced by scripts. Cross-compiling "personality" files are included for *-w64-mingw32. -- Yaakov -- Problem reports: http://cygwin.com/problems.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/ Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple
