This is the same version that was released two weeks ago, but it's now been= promoted to current, so you won't have to specifically choose it in setup.exe/setup64.exe any more. I've been using = it without any problems, and no one has reported any problems to the list, so it's time to promote it. The previou= s release, 4.0.3-7, is still available in the archive. screen is a terminal multiplexer and window manager that runs several separ= ate 'screens' on a single physical character-based terminal. Each virtual term= inal emulates a DEC VT100 plus several ANSI X3.64 and ISO 2022 functions. You c= an create multiple windows with any programs in them, kill the current window, switch between windows or copy text between them, view a list of active win= dows, rename windows, view scrollback history, and more. You can detach your ses= sion and even log out if you wish; your programs will keep running, and you can reattach later, maybe when logged in from a different host. Andrew E.
