You've not bothered to search the archives or even read the manual,=20 specifically https://cygwin.com/cygwin-ug-net/ntsec.html#ntsec-files but = instead immediately assume a flaw in the code. Not very scientific ...=20 or polite. (By the way, the permission workaround is another good reason for not=20 installing in system root if advice from the authors of Cygwin - Corinna = et al - isn't enough for you.) 3.
