I am using Cygwin on Windows 7 x64. aptitude is not a cygwin package. For a useful bug report, you should at least describe which software you actually run, and how you start it. Given the symptoms I doubt you even run from a cygwin environment. Maybe it's something bundled with the cygwin library in which case you should direct the bug report to the publisher of the software. -- Problem reports: http://cygwin.com/problems.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/ Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple
