It does for XSL what jw does for DSSSL. Whereas jw is a Jade wrapper, xmlto is a wrapper around the XSL-T processor. It's currently implemented for xsltproc as the XSL-T processor, and passivetex for conversions from XSL-FO. It also converts to man pages uses db2man.xsl, which I have enhanced somewhat (I think the output is comparable to that from docbook2man-spec.pl). Please take a look and let me know if this is a useful tool, or if it needs changing before it becomes useful. http://cyberelk.net/tim/xmlto/ Tim. */ --AQYPrgrEUc/1pSX1 Content-Type: application/pgp-signature Content-Disposition: inline Content-length: 232 -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: For info see http://www.gnupg.org iD8DBQE8A3m3yaXy9qA00+cRAgfCAKCO7iaDaQcLtWTkCNC/vKQe+cR75ACcDM5D jrujPbCWQO2Qe1lIrcSdqRU= =zoKa -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --AQYPrgrEUc/1pSX1-- From mboxrd@z Thu Jan 1 00:00:00 1970 Return-Path: Received: (qmail 5898 invoked by alias); 27 Nov 2001 11:32:18 -0000 Mailing-List: contact docbook-tools-discuss-help@sourceware.cygnus.com; run by ezmlm Precedence: bulk List-Subscribe: List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: , Sender: docbook-tools-discuss-owner@sources.redhat.com Received: (qmail 5851 invoked from network); 27 Nov 2001 11:32:13 -0000 Date: Fri, 26 Oct 2001 13:23:00 -0000 From: Tim Waugh To: docbook-tools-discuss@sourceware.cygnus.com Subject: xmlto (XSL tool-chain frontend) Message-ID: <20011127113208.P15015@redhat.com> Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: multipart/signed; micalg=pgp-md5; protocol="application/pgp-signature"; boundary="AQYPrgrEUc/1pSX1" Content-Disposition: inline User-Agent: Mutt/1.2.5i X-SW-Source: 2001-q4/txt/msg00000.txt.bz2 Message-ID: <20011026132300.XLe5KFH0hDtr8lGkz0AkmKZL00HYQlPNMXS2SoWEZLA@z> --AQYPrgrEUc/1pSX1 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Disposition: inline Content-length: 560 I made a package called xmlto.
