So, why copying them again? ;-) There are difference on some
characters representations. See, e.g., &aacute;:

SGML entities:

<!ENTITY aacute SDATA "[aacute]"--=small a, acute accent-->

XML entities:

<!ENTITY aacute "&#x00E1;"> <!-- LATIN SMALL LETTER A WITH ACUTE -->



For XML entities one uses Unicode representation, for SGML not.
