Subject: Updated lightweight release tags to annotated tags
Date: Wed, 13 Jul 2022 12:42:56 +0200	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <bb6b4fa398de251b211026a5da2b183bdc7c74a7.camel@klomp.org> (raw)

Hi,

I updated the lightweight release tags for dwz-0.12, dwz-0.13 and dwz-
0.14 to annotated tags so they work properly with git describe (which
is needed if we want to get the --version string to include the git
commit hash). The other release tags were already annotated.

To get the refreshed tags in an existing checkout you have to:
git pull --tags --force

I think we also should start using signed release tags in the future so
people can verify the git checkout for a specific release tag is what
is expected. I'll sent a patch for the release script.

Cheers,

Mark
