If we are only interested in kernel loadable modules then we could run eu-s=
trip
--reloc-debug-sections[-only] before running dwz:

      --reloc-debug-sections Resolve all trivial relocations between debug
                             sections if the removed sections are placed in=
 a
                             debug file (only relevant for ET_REL files,
                             operation is not reversable, needs -f)

      --reloc-debug-sections-only
                             Similar to --reloc-debug-sections, but resolve=
 all
                             trivial relocations between debug sections in
                             place.  No other stripping is performed (opera=
tion
                             is not reversable, incompatible with -f, -g,
                             --remove-comment and --remove-section)

That way there are no relocations anymore between the .debug_sections. Whic=
h is
fine because although the .ko files are ET_REL you wouldn't link them with =
any
other object file. dwz should then double check the .ko is really a kernel
module on which eu-strip --reloc-debug-sections has been run before process=
ing
the file.
