By default the version identifier shown with dwz -v is the text that is
contained in src/VERSION, which is set to the latest release identifier.

The version can be overridden by using make DWZ_VERSION=3D<...>, which is
presumably what distros would use to indicate release plus patch level or s=
ome
such.

During development however, the latest release identifier is somewhat
unspecific, and it would be more useful to show f.i. the git hash, possibly
combined with a note on whether the sources where clean or not.
