Message-Id: <1059839132.4179.10.camel@escape> Mime-Version: 1.0 X-Mailer: Ximian Evolution 1.2.2 (1.2.2-5) Date: Sat, 02 Aug 2003 15:45:00 -0000 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit X-SW-Source: 2003-q3/txt/msg00005.txt.bz2 I downloaded the snapshot and found that I needed a pretty different list of binary RPMS to run it. I got them all from the taroon ftp site... libgcc-ssa-3.5ssa-0.20030617.24.i386.rpm libgcj-ssa-3.5ssa-0.20030617.24.i386.rpm libstdc++-ssa-3.5ssa-0.20030617.24.i386.rpm db4-4.1.25-4.i386.rpm and the following two RPMS I forced to install with "rpm --nodeps", since they depend on a newer version of the gcc 3.2 libstdc++ library that conflicts with the one in RHL9. The resulting eclipse still appears to run OK. oprofile-0.5.4-3.i386.rpm snapshot-20030731-eclipse-2.1.0-12.i386.rpm That was it. Thanks, AG -- Anthony Green Red Hat, Inc.
