This is the log file: Your failure message looks similar to one reported by Josef Spillner. He just said that the problem was related to the fact that his LANG, LANGUAGE and LC_ALL environment variables were set when running eclipse. If you have those variables set, could you try running eclipse by explicitly unsetting them or setting them to "C"? I get a similar error when running eclipse as $ LANG=de_DE eclipse: Cheers, Mark
