If you are talking about kernel .config files and a /sbin directory, then you
are talking about Linux, not eCos. We cannot help you with Linux problems - that
is a different operating system.

Since eCos AFAIK doesn't even have a netfilter option to turn on, are you sure
you are using eCos to do this? Exactly what option are you turning on and how
are you doing it?
