Summary: at91_spi.c says "fix me", and need a flag to be
cleared before transfer()
Product: eCos
Version: 3.0
Platform: at91sam7sek_256 (AT91SAM7S-EK board with AT91SAM7S256)
OS/Version: ARM
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: low
Component: SPI
AssignedTo: unassigned@bugs.ecos.sourceware.org
ReportedBy: oli@snr.ch
CC: ecos-bugs@ecos.sourceware.org
Class: Advice Request
Created an attachment (id=1087)

patch for at91_spi.c
The at91_spi.c has a hal-delay in the dsr() which could be avoided. And in some
cases the spi_transfer dont work correct. If there is a byte aviable from an
old transfer in the SPI-read-register, then the spi-transfer-function stores
this in the new to receive buffer and lets the last byte of the current
transfer in the read-register. Its nessesary to clear the "data-aviable" flag
befor starting a transfer. patch attached...
