Use the web interface provided at: http://bugs.ecos.sourceware.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1001697 Summary: Changing stm32 wallclock RTC clock source does not work Product: eCos Version: unknown Platform: stm32e_eval (ST STM3210E EVAL board) OS/Version: Cortex-M Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: major Priority: low Component: Wallclock AssignedTo: unassigned@bugs.ecos.sourceware.org ReportedBy: pme.neratec@gmx.ch CC: ecos-bugs@ecos.sourceware.org Class: Advice Request Created an attachment (id=1978) --> (http://bugs.ecos.sourceware.org/attachment.cgi?id=1978) stm32 wallclock driver bugfix I wanted to change from using LSI as RTC clock source to using HSE/128 as RTC clock source. For this I change the eCos configuration CYGHWR_DEVS_WALLCLOCK_STM32_RTC_SOURCE from "LSI" to "HSE_128" and rebuilt the eCos library. But I found out that this change was not successful because of two bugs in the stm32 wallclock driver (stm32_wallclock.cxx) Bug 1: "Disable backup domain protection" is currently done after "Reset backup domain" Bug 2: In case of the "HSE_128", backup domain needs to remain write enabled (i.e. backup domain protection disabled) I corrected the bug for my environment and here I attach a diff file with a bugfix for the stm32 wallclock driver. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.ecos.sourceware.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
