I developed a port for the TI iceLynx and might get a chance to supply it to the public eCos repository.
The iceLynx is a single-chip firewire solution, integrating a Phy, Link Layer, ARM7TDMI core, RAM, and some goodies like timers and UART.
My port is currently a platform HAL. It also started work on a variant HAL, with platforms for publicly available TI demo boards. I just don't know yet whether there is really anything to put into the platform HAL, because the iceLynx is so highly integrated.
Purpose of this mail is to find out whether the maintainers are interested in integrating the HAL packages into eCos. Please let me know. There are some copyright issues to work out with TI which I won't tackle until there is some interest.
