do you think for the love of god that you can port
ecos to an 8051 microcontroller smart chip, i am
desperately needing a cos (card operating system)
attached is example.ecos is 32 bit i need 8
bit, contiki is another 8 bit cos, maybe you could port
it to this microcontroller.

Looking for an experienced COS developer for 8 bit
8051 microcontroller
based dual interface smart chip.

Has to be competant in development tools based on Keil
C Compliler 51 MX and
any of the developement plaforms below

http://www.ashling.com/datasheets/DS211-PKSCP8RF5000.html
or

http://www.ahlersedv.de/main.php?BL=RA&LA=EN&UB=65

you might take a look at

http://www.sics.se/~adam/contiki/people.html

They have an 8 bit solution OS that can be oorted to
the 8051 controller,
but memory management has to be implimented in the OS.

this list is devoted to ecos development not job offers!

8051 has no mmu so memory management will be always implemented in software.

Cheers!

In fairness it's arguably a feature request.

There is no 8-bit 8051 port of GCC. See:
http://ecos.sourceware.org/fom-serv/ecos/cache/42.html
for why this is important.
