Hi,

finally, with the help of uwe kindlers h8s-package (thanks a lot !) It
_seems_ redboot is working on my h8s2329-platform, but there is only
crap coming out of the RS232-interface after a reset - (i.e. I think I
am very close to the redboot-cmdline); regardless which baudrate I use.

I assume, that there is some location where to set the Quartz-frequency
and that it is not set to the 22.1184 Mhz (the 2329-EDK) - so that the
baudrate isnot correct. So Where do I adjust the frequency ???

Am i right or could this behaviour caused by other reasons ?

Thanks for any help,

Marc

Hi,

sorry to annoy anyone with this startup-problem; it is working now:
In the H8S2357-package , I only had to adopt the oscillatorfrequency -
which I found finally - and had to set both "debug" and "diagnosis"
channel to 0, 115200 baud (strange, but ok). Now it works, i.e. I can
work on the redboot-cmdline.

Marc
