Hello, I'm building a ROM version of Redboot for the IXP425. The Intel user
guide says that when I use their prepackaged binaries, I need to byte swap
my redboot.bin image before I generate an S19 equivalent which I then upload
using a Macraigor wiggler. Presumably the byteswapping is to fix endianess.
However when I build my own redboot images, the images generated are
supposed to be bigendian already. Do I still need to byteswap this image
before I generate the s19 equivalent?
I am little confused and would appreciate an explanation..
Thanks
Krishna
