If you want to port some SPARC V8 processor on eCos, i advice you to start from LEON base. Because it is a sparc V8 processor, but this port is only working on leon simulator so you have to do somme modification in the startup code, and in the link script to start it from Flash. My port is working quite well, the only trouble that i have is the GDB stub that is doesn't working. But i couldn't sort it out for the moment, i wonder if this port having a gdb stub support or not, or if there just a little trouble wich make the connection fail with gdb. if anyone know the answer !!! Hi, Anyone achieved or in the process of achieving eCos porting to SPARC v8 Processor ?
