Hello everybody,
I've a problem with some configurations in vmWare...

I cannot make network tests....I mean:

Redboot> ping -h 127.0.0.1
Cannot reach server 127.0.0.1

Redboot> ip_address

IP: 192.168.227.60/255.255.255.0, Gateway: 192.168.227.2
Default server: 0.0.0.0

(ip_address command let me configure only local ip and server -- not gateway)

My local machine IP is 192.168.0.13

I would like to load my programs realized for my device running on ecos and
ARM processor ,...

I could I solve this problem? any suggestion?

Thanks for you help, regards....

Rob

I have no idea if it is related to your problem or not, but you do know
that 127.0.0.1 is the loopback address, don't you? I've no idea if
eCos/RedBoot supports the loopback interface or not, but in any case
testing Ethernet connectivity would require that you ping another
machine.
