Hi

According to
http://ecos.sourceware.org/docs-latest/ref/tcpip-freebsd-networking-stack-features.html
as well as the similar entry for the openbsd port,
UNICAST is not supported!?

Can someone explain to me what that means?
I thought unicast was the "normal" way to communicate via TCP/IP.
So how could I address a ecos device, and how could I send requests to
somewhere from an ecos device?

Thank you.

unicast, in this context, means a special point-to-point connection,
primarily supported for IPv6.

Normal network traffic, based on IP & ARP, works just fine :-)

Hi.

I wonder whether or not there's support for 'Mobile IP'.
I saw that 'Mobile IP' is featured by newer KAME (FreeBSD IP Stack)
releases as part of the IPv6 support.
Does that mean that 'Mobile IP' is featured now, or will be featured, or
can easily be integrated in eCOS, too?

Thanks,
Frank
