I'm writing physical layer for DoC flash support. The questions are:

 - to incorporate support for such devices a READ entry point would need to be 
added to generic flash layer.

- The DoC has factory marked bad blocks. The RedBoot and JFFS should be aware 
of those. How to incorporate that into generic flash layer without some NFTL 
(nand flash transation layer) intermediate layer present on Linux?
